Beekeeping Mini-Exhibition, Pištín

Beekeeping Mini-Exhibition, Pištín

A room dedicated to the traditions of local beekeeping in Pištín.

The beekeeping exhibition is located in the attic of the Community House No. 56 in Pištín.

The exhibition introduces visitors to the history of beekeeping and showcases a range of exhibits (historical tools and equipment) that were used in households and farms in the South Bohemian countryside. Some of the tools date back to 1900. Visitors can also see straw beehives and historical honey extractors. The exhibition is open to the public during cultural and social events in the village of Pištín. Visits at other times are possible by prior arrangement with the municipal office in Pištín.
