Slavonice Underground

Under most of the houses on the lower náměstí Míru square and the upper Horní náměstí square of the city of Slavonice, there extends an intricate system of medieval underground passages. The Slavonice underground is one of the oldest parts of the city and is likely associated with Gothic buildings from the 13th century. Part of the corridors are open to the public.
