The museum is located in a renovated Renaissance house from the mid-16th century on Poštovní Street, opposite the Nebe Café and Roastery.
This lace-filled museum offers exhibitions presenting the history of European and Czech handmade bobbin lace and its use in clothing, especially in folk costumes. You will also find an exhibition of historical tools and materials used for bobbin lace making. A highly admired part of the collection includes metal laces and table setting examples from Bohemia in the first half of the 20th century. The exhibition also features works by notable Czech and international artists from the second half of the 20th century.
