Museum of Rural Life LIVA Předslavice
Discover the history of agriculture and rural work from past times.
Enter the museum through the revitalized Baroque gate of the former “U Blumů” estate from 1848, a creation of the folk builder and mason-artist Jakub Bursa, a native of nearby Dolní Nakvasovice. In addition to agriculture, the museum showcases traditional crafts, folk festivals, and the ingenuity of how rural people made use of resources. Many valuable pieces can be seen here, which Mr. Václav Jungvirt is very proud of, as farming has been a family tradition passed down through generations in the Jungvirt family. The museum aims to inspire the younger generation to see that life in the countryside still has value in the modern age.
Welcome to the estate.
