Lego Museum Tábor

Lego Museum Tábor

The museum showcases hundreds of original models from around the world, built using over one million LEGO bricks. Both children and adults will enjoy the unique and detailed LEGO Technic models, many of which can be tested via remote controls.

The exhibition is divided into themes such as LEGO Architecture, LEGO Technic, LEGO Ideas, and more. New, rare, and exclusive models are constantly being added. During your visit, you’ll also learn about the history and origin of the LEGO brick. The museum is interactive and houses over 1.5 million LEGO bricks.

It is located in the historical center of Tábor, in a national cultural monument on Špitálské Square. The entire exhibition spans over 200 m² and features LEGO models from a private collector.

Exhibits include the Statue of Liberty, Tower Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, and India’s Taj Mahal. You can also see a replica of the Beneš Villa made from over 20,000 bricks at a 1:42 scale. Another highlight is a replica of the Tábor restaurant Střelnice, built at 1:50 scale using over 100,000 bricks.

Among the oldest exhibits are original wooden toys from the 1940s and 1950s, as well as molded plastic toys from the 1950s. The exhibition is a unique attraction in both Europe and the world.

After your visit, a play area is available for children (and adults) to build with LEGO bricks.

The museum visit can end with shopping in a store offering LEGO sets not commonly sold in Czech retail stores.
