Educational Trail “Around Svět”
This trail, designated for pedestrians only, is 12 km long and includes 16 stops with educational panels.
The circular trail encircles Lake Svět and guides visitors through the natural landscapes on the southwestern edge of the town of Třeboň. It offers basic information on the evolution of the current landscape of the Třeboň Basin as a result of long-term, mutually beneficial coexistence between humans and nature. Topics include the history and present of fish farming and spa traditions, folk architecture, key communities of organisms, typical plant species, and fundamental ecological relationships.
The trail begins in the park near Aurora Spa, continues through meadows, forests, and the Vimperky peat bog, past the Spolský Mill, Ostende swimming area, and Schwarzenberg Tomb, and returns to Třeboň.
