A dense network of ski trails in the Mladá Vožice region
Up to 88 km of groomed trails await you in the Polánka Nature Park and its surroundings! The high altitude and pristine nature ensure that snow remains here the longest in the entire Tábor region. The terrain is mostly flat, so you can enjoy your cross-country ski trip without much effort.
Tour routes and circuits
With favorable snow conditions, you can embark on several full-day ski tours – for example, from Chýnov through Smilovy Hory to Mladá Vožice. But it’s also worth going for just an hour or two to Hartvíkov, a picturesque village nestled in the woods. This area usually has the most snow in the region and therefore the best-maintained trails.
When snow conditions are good even in lower areas, a 10 km circuit between the villages of Slapsko and Oldřichov, a 4 km loop near Stojslavice, or the route from Mladá Vožice to Horní Kouty (near ski lifts) are also maintained.
Due to the unpredictability of winter weather, it’s always important to check the map showing the condition of the groomed trails, which is regularly updated by the Polánka Civic Association. You’ll also find information on recommended routes, trailheads, and refreshment options.
