Pilgrimage Trail of Toulava
A pilgrimage between three famous sacred monuments – Klokoty, Milevsko, Bechyně.
Set out on a pilgrimage between three notable sacred sites. Discover the grand Baroque in Klokoty, the ancient Romanesque basilica in the Milevsko Monastery, and the Gothic gem of the Bechyně Monastery.
How to become a pilgrim:
You become a pilgrim if you walk to one of the three pilgrimage destinations (Klokoty, Bechyně Monastery, Milevsko Monastery) for at least 15 km. In your diary, notebook, journal, or tourist log, there must be a stamp from a church, parish, or information centre located at least 15 km away.
If you walked and can show this stamp at one of the three destinations, you will receive a pilgrim certificate. If you’re taking a longer route, be sure to request one stamp per day. Of course, you may also start from one of the three sacred sites and make a round trip.
Each pilgrim will be added to the register of pilgrims and will be remembered in prayers and during Holy Mass.
