Agrotourism Trip to the Borovany Mill
The carefully renovated mill is located on the shore of a South Bohemian pond, 2 km from Borovany, approximately 16 km from Třeboň, 16 km from České Budějovice, and 20 km from Český Krumlov. It’s an ideal place for exploring the cultural and historical sights of South Bohemia.
The site also includes a farm with various livestock and a pond with truly large fish.
A trip to the farm can become a unique experience, especially if you choose the so-called Fairy Tale Stay. For weekly stays, the program takes place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, always from 9 to 11 a.m. For weekend stays, on Saturday. The program has three parts:
Try working as a farmhand.
The program includes: a tour of the farm, feeding the animals (some even by hand), caring for domestic animals, and regular farm maintenance. At the end of the stay, participants receive the Order of the Proper Farmhand!
Fishing with the water sprite Kebul.
The program includes: an introduction to freshwater fish, fishing rights, fishing, feeding fish, and regular pond maintenance. Participants receive the Order of the Little Pond Keeper!
Meet the miller’s black horse.
The program includes: regular horse care, basic riding lessons, and horseback riding. Participants receive the Order of the Little Jockey!
