Along the Malše River to the Římov Reservoir

This route follows paved roads through the pleasant South Bohemian countryside. Expect a steeper climb before reaching Svatý Jan. Make your trip more interesting by visiting the renowned Baroque Stations of the Cross that wind through the surroundings of Římov. Stop at the medieval ruins of Velešín Castle above the Římov Reservoir and at Pořešín Castle near the village of the same name close to Kaplice.
