Geocaching in the Novohradské and Doudlebské Regions – Žižka
As the name suggests, this trail will také you to the birthplace of the most famous Czech Hussite commander, Jan Žižka of Trocnov, while you search for three hidden caches.
The total length of the route is 9 km, starting and ending in the town of Borovany, which can be reached by train (on the České Budějovice–České Velenice line), by bus, or by car, which can be parked in one of the many parking areas in town. This route is definitely one of the easier ones — thanks to its flat terrain, good paths, and short distance. You can use a bicycle or stroller here, though we recommend sticking strictly to marked tourist trails or roads. The whole route should také no more than three hours.
