Červené blato Educational Trail
The route mainly consists of boardwalks that allow passage through the soft terrain of the peat bog.
The trail features 9 information panels that provide basic information about the flora and fauna typical of peatland environments, as well as the history of the local glassworks, which was closely connected to peat extraction. Don’t miss visiting in May and June, when the bog is covered in carpets of blooming Labrador tea (Ledum palustre), a plant listed in the Red List of endangered species.
