From Písek via Týn to Zvíkov and Back
Road cycling combines speed, passion, and nature. Regardless of your experience level, this sport offers not only adrenaline but also opportunities for social connection with fellow cyclists. Get ready for an adventure on the road and enjoy the freedom of movement under the open sky.
From the royal town of Písek, you will head east along forested asphalt roads in the heart of the Písek Hills, known for their beautiful deep forests and views of the Bohemian Forest foothills. Through the picturesque village of Albrechtice nad Vltavou, where you can visit the beautiful so-called chapel cemetery, you’ll follow a pleasantly undulating road to the town of Týn nad Vltavou, known for its rafting history. Then you’ll continue through Bechyně, with its castle, and cross the Lužnice River via the bridge called Bechyňská duha (“Bechyně Rainbow”). Through Bernartice, you’ll reach the royal castle of Zvíkov, where we recommend a short detour. Afterward, you’ll return to Písek.
