From Písek via Bavorov and Protivín
Road cycling combines speed, passion, and nature. Regardless of experience level, this sport offers not only adrenaline but also the chance to socially connect with fellow cyclists. Get ready for a road adventure and enjoy the freedom of movement under the open sky.
From Písek, you head towards the Zátavský Bridge, where American and Soviet armies met in May 1945. Ride along beautiful asphalt roads to Strakonice, then turn south, pass near Volyně and the ruins of Helfenburk Castle, and arrive in Bavorov. Here, the originally Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is particularly noteworthy. Passing through Vodňany, a town known for its fishpond tradition, you will reach Protivín (Crocodile ZOO), and through the village of Putim with the statue of soldier Švejk, you will complete the circuit back in Písek.
