From Strakonice to Kvilda and Back

Join us for a road cycling adventure in South Bohemia.

From Strakonice, you’ll ride upstream along the Otava River, then pass through Volenice toward Kašperské Hory. The town itself is worth a visit, including several restaurants, the Church of St. Margaret, and one of the largest cabinet nativity scenes in the Czech Republic. Before entering the town, we recommend a detour to Kašperk Castle. The climb to the former village of Zhůří will test your legs, taking you into the heart of the Bohemian Forest. On the return trip via Churáňov, don’t miss the campsite in Úbislav with its unforgettable bistro.
