A beautiful long ride into the Novohradské Mountains first takes you through the historical land of the Doudlebans. Passing through Římov with its Stations of the Cross, you reach Sv. Jan nad Malší, offering a scenic view of both the Novohradské and Bohemian Forest foothills. Riding along the base of the Slepičí hory (Hen Mountains), you’ll head towards the heart of the Novohradské Mountains. Through Malonty and Pohorská Ves, you reach the highest point of the trip – Hojná and Dobrá Voda, known for their Baroque church. In Nové Hrady, the castle tied to the Buquoy family and local glassmaking history is worth a visit. The return to České Budějovice takes you through Petříkov and Borovany.
