From Krumlov to Lipno and Back via Kaplice

From Český Krumlov, head through Větřní and the hilly countryside to Světlík and onward to Frymburk, where you should definitely visit the originally Gothic Church of St. Bartholomew. Following the Lipno cycle trail, you’ll quickly arrive in Lipno nad Vltavou, known for its wide range of leisure activities. A newly built cycle route then leads you downhill to Vyšší Brod with its Cistercian monastery. After some enjoyable climbs and a fantastic descent, you’ll reach Rožmberk nad Vltavou – be sure to visit the local castle. Return to Krumlov via Rožmitál, Kaplice, the ruins of Pořešín Castle, and Velešín.
