From Český Krumlov to the Lipno Region

Road cycling combines speed, passion, and nature. Regardless of experience level, this sport offers not only adrenaline but also the opportunity for social connection with fellow cyclists. Get ready for a road adventure and enjoy the freedom of movement in the open air.

From Krumlov, you head toward Kájov and then continue along previously closed asphalt roads toward Horní Planá. Upon arrival, the town offers a lovely lookout tower and is especially known as the birthplace of the Bohemian Forest poet Adalbert Stifter (his birth house). Continue on a pleasant cycle path to Černá v Pošumaví and Frymburk. Passing through Malšín with its originally Gothic church, you’ll descend a long downhill route to Zátoň with the Church of St. John the Baptist and pass a former hillfort on your way back to Krumlov.
