From České Budějovice via Týn nad Vltavou and back

From České Budějovice, set off on one of the most beautiful cycle paths in the Czech Republic toward Hluboká nad Vltavou, home to a romantic chateau in the Windsor style. After another 12 km, you’ll reach the former rafting village of Purkarec, having passed the ruins of Karlův hrádek castle just before. Crossing the Hněvkovice dam, you arrive in Týn nad Vltavou. A few kilometers further, you will pass by the Temelín nuclear power plant. On the return journey, you will pass Ohrada Castle with its forestry museum and the ZOO Ohrada.
