From Landštejn to Dobersberg

Family cycling is a great way to combine physical activity, fun, and time spent with loved ones. Explore nature together, discover new places, and enjoy the fresh air. Create lasting memories of beautiful moments on bikes with the whole family in South Bohemia.

The trip begins at the massive ruins of Landštejn Castle, originally Romanesque and later rebuilt in the Renaissance style, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The route continues along forest paths and country roads via Stálkov. Along the way, you will pass the archaeological site of the village of Pfaffenschlag, and before reaching Slavonice, you’ll see a fortress area and a quirky private root sculpture museum. The Renaissance center of Slavonice offers not only a historical experience but also refreshments. Afterwards, a bike trail follows a disused railway line to the Austrian village of Dobersberg.
