In Nová Bystřice, visit the Veteran Car Museum, which boasts the largest collection of American cars in the Czech Republic, or the Regional Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum. Veclov is home to a bison farm. Near the state border stands the "Trojmezí" boundary stone. In Maříž, you’ll find a ceramic workshop and the ruins of Maříž Chateau. Slavonice offers Renaissance landmarks (tower, façades) and a fortification museum. Along the route, you’ll pass a number of WWII-era bunkers known as "Řopíks". Near Mutná is the pilgrimage church of Montserrat. In Dačice, visit the Sugar Museum and the chateau. Český Rudolec is known as "Little Hluboká". Nový Svět features a unique rock formation known as the "Devil’s Butt".
