CCL – Stage 1: From České Velenice to Rožmberk Pond

The Lužnice Cycle Route is a long-distance trail that more or less follows the course of the Lužnice River. It starts in České Velenice, where the Lužnice enters the South Bohemian Region from neighboring Austria, and continues northward through the picturesque landscape of the Třeboň Basin, which it leaves upon entering the Tábor Highlands. In the town of Tábor, the route turns southwest to finish its journey together with the Lužnice River in Týn nad Vltavou. The route is easy to moderately difficult, with a total length of 148 km.
