City Days 2026: Three Days of Music, Gatherings and Joy
On June 5-7, Jindřichův Hradec will come alive with one of the most popular events of the year. Town Days are back and this year's edition promises an extraordinary programme. The historic centre will be transformed into a space full of music, meetings, tastes and experiences for young and old alike. Visitors can expect concerts by well-known performers, a varied accompanying programme, activities for children and a wide range of refreshments.

Friday, June 5 - Musical Evening at náměstí Míru
- 18:30 - Tolky (South Bohemian guitarist, pop rock with alternative elements)
- 20:30 - Sebastian (distinctive voice of the contemporary Czech pop scene)
Saturday, June 6 - All-day program for young and old

Husovy sady - Children's Zone:
Even the youngest visitors will find something to enjoy. On Saturday from 12:00, Husovy sady will be transformed into a fairytale park full of games, creative workshops and fun activities. Children can meet fairy tale characters, feed the parrots, try sensory games or have their faces painted. The program will also include two theatrical fairy tales performed by the Mareš Theatre Company.

Program on Saturday 6. June 6 from 10am to 7pm will combine children's entertainment, summer photography and fashion design.

Museum Garden (for paying museum visitors)
- A space for play and relaxation: Pexes, Man, Don't Be Angry in a large version, sandpit, water games, drums, climbing wall, kitchen, pedal cars and other play elements
- A relaxation zone will be created behind the café with balance equipment, sitting bags, throwing target and colouring books.
House of Tapestries, Cultural Traditions and Crafts:
The House of Tapestries will join the programme of the Days of Jindřichův Hradec on 6 June from 10:00 to 17:00 and will open its workshops to all those who want to have a look into the world of tapestries and try working with textiles.

- Demonstrations of tapestry restoration under the guidance of experienced restorers
- Craft workshops with Zuzana Krajčovičová's studio: pedigree knitting, wirework, textile printing

The Town Days 2026 are a celebration of Jindřichův Hradec - its history, its people, its atmosphere. The entire programme has been prepared by the town of Jindřichův Hradec and all concerts are free of charge. The event is supported by the budget of the South Bohemia Region.
