Novohradsko Blacksmith Workshop
A permanent exhibition site where visitors can try simple blacksmithing tasks.
The blacksmith shop, first mentioned in 1719, operated until 1879. Later, the building was mainly used for housing. In 2001–2002, it underwent reconstruction and is now open to the public. Visitors can explore an exhibition on blacksmithing and agricultural tools. The entire workshop is accessible, including a display dedicated to blacksmithing, a collection of traditional forged products, and during Easter and Christmas events, also the interior of the residential areas. Occasionally, live demonstrations of traditional blacksmithing are held. Outside the summer season, the forge hosts regular public events such as Christmas and Easter blacksmithing and various gatherings of blacksmiths.
