Beauties of Volary and Surroundings – Walking Trails

The local tourist trail marking will guide you not only around the surroundings of Volary but also through the beautiful parts of the town itself.

Route No. 1 "Along the Alley to the Viewpoint" takes you on the legendary Golden Trail. If you continue following the local signs, you will reach the chapel at the foot of Kamenáč hill. About another hundred meters farther, you’ll reach the summit and suddenly find yourself at a spot offering a magnificent view of the Volary basin and the massif of the border mountains in the background. Majestically above Volary rises the solid ridge of Třístoličník, Trojmezí, and Plechý.
